Stolen Device Protection. I Highly Suggest It.

Apple’s Stolen Device Protection, available with iOS 17.3, is designed to protect your personal information and accounts by adding a layer of security for your iPhone when you’re away from familiar locations such as home or work.

The Stolen Device Protection feature works by requiring Face ID or Touch ID biometric authentication and a security delay for some actions such as accessing stored passwords and credit cards when you’re away from your usual locations. These protections help to prevent a thief or unknown actor from performing critical operations to compromise your account or device in the event your iPhone is lost or stolen.
