CES 2024 was held in Las Vegas on January 9-12 and we’re back to give you a rundown of some of our favorite new tech from this massive show.

TVs are always a big item at the show, and this year the trend is transparent screens. Leaders are Samsung, with its transparent MicroLED TV, and LG’s OLED T.

The BeamO from WITHINGS is a portable, handheld device that can act as a thermometer, electrocardiogram, oximeter, and stethoscope.

ColdSnap is a countertop ice cream maker that creates a tasty, soft-serve ice cream in under two minutes.

After you’ve had your ice cream, it’s time for a massage, right? Then consider Capsix Robotics’ iYU, an AI-assisted massage robot.

If you’re not in the mood for ice cream, GE Profile offers an indoor smoker that uses an advanced catalytic converter to filter its wood-pellet smoke.

Finally, there’s the Rabbit R1, an AI-powered handheld device that acts as a kind of universal controller for the apps on your smartphone. Based on what the company describes as a “Large Action Model,” the R1 can understand complex questions and act on a range of tasks, for example, ordering your groceries, setting up a restaurant get-together with your friends, or finishing that Photoshop project you’ve been putting off.

And that’s a wrap. Be seeing you.
