Highlights from Apple’s 2022 Far Out event include: the Apple Watch Series 8 with improvements to temperature sensing, battery life, new Crash Detection features, and a new high-end model, Apple Watch Ultra, designed for use in extreme environments.

A new second generation of AirPods Pro features a new H2 processing chip, low-distortion audio driver and custom amplifier, Personalized Spatial Audio listening experience, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, improved touch control, longer battery life, and Find My compatibility.

Finally, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro sport an impressive set of improvements. The iPhone 14 includes an A15 processing chip, 12MP Main camera with improved sensors and lenses, Photonic Engine image processing, improved video, 5G connectivity, eSIM, Crash Detection, and Emergency SOS via satellite.

The iPhone 14 Pro ups the feature ante with the new Dynamic Island for alerts and notifications, an A16 Bionic processor chip, a 48MP Pro camera with quad-pixel sensor, Always-On display, improved video, improved battery life, Emergency SOS via satellite, and Crash Detection. Whew!
